Our Beliefs

1. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; through Him we come to God the Father.

2. God is supremely good and full of love.  We are called into a personal relationship with Him.  In this relationship, we place all of our hope and trust in God and we delight in praising Him.  Love for God motivates us in all that we do as Christians.

3. God's Holy Spirit has been given to us to live in us.  But we also long for a greater fullness of the Spirit.

4.  God is at work in the world and in the church, and we are called to join Him in His work.

5.  Jesus Christ has the power to change lives.

6.  The church is called to be the most loving community it can be.  It is a place where we enjoy     

     belonging, where people know and love each other and care for each other, and where we have

     friends whom we trust and call on for help or for prayer.

7.  Living Springs Community Church has been chosen by God to be a Mission Station in the southern

     suburbs of the Chicago region.  It is our mission to bring the gospel to those who do not yet know

     Jesus.

8.  A church made up of diverse people is a living testimony to the power of Christ to redeem people and

     bring them into true unity.

9.  The Word of God is absolutely true and is our guide and teacher for all of life.
