What Are Community Groups?
Community Groups are intergenerational small groups
(8-15 people) which meet in individuals homes throughout
the southern suburbs. They tend to be
geographically based. Typically, you can find 1 of
these groups meeting near you.
Purpose: to become a community of love or a
spiritual family that really does LifeTogether -
reaching out, connecting, growing, serving, and
celebrating God in worship and lifestyle.
Mission:
1.
Reaching - We will reach out to the community
through community. No us four and no more
mentality.
2.
Connecting - They will be caring
communities that act like extended families.
Ministering to each other's needs and hurts in
community.
3.
Growing - These groups will foster genuine,
honest spirituality, which will seek intentional,
kingdom-orientated spiritual growth.
4.
Serving - Serving together in community
and/or helping each other find a meaningful place to
serve.
5.
Celebrating - Enjoying God and each other.
We believe that doing life together should be fun!
